Ogni anno, tornando da Vitulano verso Pavia, ci fermiamo per una sosta a Fabro (Umbria). Se vi capita di percorrere l'autostrada A1 verso l'ora di pranzo, o di cena, e vi trovate in zona, potrebbe essere un'idea fermarvi a questa uscita. Il paese è molto carino, anche se minuscolo; prima di arrivarci, però, appena usciti dall'autostrada (e quindi in posizione molto comoda per chi viaggia), troverete La Bettola Del Buttero.

Il posto è molto carino, comprende un ristorante e, volendo, anche un albergo. In sala da pranzo (ma col bel tempo si  può mangiare anche fuori) c'è sempre la brace per la carne accesa ...

In giardino, giochi per i bambini ...

Every year, coming back from Vitulano and going to Pavia, we stop a while in Fabro (Umbria). If you are on the A1 motorway at lunch or dinner time, and you're near to Fabro, it could be a nice idea to stop at this exit. The village is very nice, even if very little; but before reaching the village, just getting out of the motorway (and, so, very convenient for people who's travelling) you'll find the Bettola del Buttero.

It's a very nice place, with a restaurant and also an hotel. In the dining room (but when the weather is nice you can also eat in the terrace outside) there's always the grill burning for the meat ...

In the garden, there's a little recreation ground for children ...

Trovo che il nostro giardino a Vitulano sia molto romantico; romantico per la vecchia pavimentazione in pietra, l'ulivo nel prato, il grigio delle vecchie case che lo circondano; romantico per la luce, diversa ad ogni ora del giorno e della sera, e per le montagne all'orizzonte ....

I find our garden in Vitulano very romantic; romantic  for the old rock floor, the olive tree in the grass, the grey colour of the old buildings around it; romantic for the light, different at every time of the day and the evening, and for the montains in the skyline ...

Sono tornata! Dopo una lunghissima vacanza a Vitulano, vicino a Benevento, eccomi di nuovo qui. Ho fatto alcune foto, molte alla nostra casa, che amo molto, e altre in giro per il paese, che trovo splendido.

Per il momento ecco alcune foto fatte a due stanze della nostra casa, molto semplici - mobili IKEA o scovati nei mercatini (tutti i pavimenti, le porte e la scala sul pianerottolo sono originali d'epoca). Dettaglio carino: le pareti azzurre.

I'm back! After a very long holiday in Vitulano, near Benevento, I'm here again. I made some pictures, many to our home, which I love a lot, and other around in the village, which I find beautiful.

For the moment here are some pictures made in two rooms of our home, very simple - IKEA furniture or things found at flea markets (all the floors, the doors and the stair on the landing are original vintage). Nice detail: blue walls.
