Mi trovate su instagram!!! You find me on instagram!!!

Questo blog è stato per me un'occasione piacevole per condividere foto di posti e oggetti che amo, ma oggi il mio "vero" lavoro di avvocato mi rende difficile seguirlo ...

Non lo chiudo perché in futuro non si sa mai ... ma per il momento mi trovate su Instagram (@eledidecor), sicuramente uno strumento più veloce e pratico da usare.

Arrivederci, quindi, per ora su Instagram e magari in futuro ancora qui!

Monkey bar.

L'Hotel Elysee, dove abbiamo soggiornato a New York, vanta un bar e ristorante molto conosciuto, il Monkey Bar, apparso in "Sex and the City" e in "Mad Men". Bella atmofera con musica di pianoforte.

Elysee Hotel, where we staied in New York, has a very famous bar and restaurant, the Monkey Bar, appeared in "Sex and the City" and "Mad Men". Nice atmosphere with piano music.

High Line a New York. High Line in New York.

La High Line è un parco di New York realizzato su una sezione in disuso della ferrovia sopraelevata chiamata West Side Line facente parte della più ampia New York Central Railroad.

La West Side Line fu costruita nei primi anni 30 ed abbandonata nel 1980. Nel 1999 fu costituita  un'associazione di residenti della zona, la Friends of High Line, in opposizione all'ipotesi di abbattimento dell'infrastruttura,  proponendo la sua riqualificazione in parco urbano. 

Dal 2009 il parco è aperto al pubblico.

Passeggiando nel verde si ha una veduta del Meatpacking District, il vecchio quartiere dei mattatoi, ora riqualificato come zona trendy piena di negozi e ristoranti. Spesso la High Line è teatro di mostre e ospita artisti di strada.

High Line is a New York park realized on a part of the high railway West Side Line, part of New York Central Railroad.

The West Side Line was built in 1930 and abandoned in 1980. In 1999 was born Friends of High Line association, to create this urban park. 

From 2009 the park is opened.

Walking in the vegetation you can see the Meatpacking District, the old slaughterhouses district, now a trendy zone full of shops and restaurants. Often on High Line you find art exhibitions and road artists.
